Consultation on the Draft Health & Wellbeing Strategy

What do we want to know?: 

This consultation is the first step in developing a three year plan to improve the health and wellbeing of local people at every stage of their lives.  It is based on detailed studies of local needs.  It focusses on the issues that need most attention and where the biggest differences could be made:
- A positive start in life
- Promoting healthy lifestyles
- Improving mental wellbeing
- A safer population
- Living independently
- Active and healthy ageing
- Protecting health
- Housing
- Maximising opportunity

Please read the draft Health and Wellbeing Strategy before completing this survey.  You can complete the survey online.  Alternatively you can complete a paper copy of the survey, which can be posted to....

The consultation runs for 12 weeks and closes on 31 December 2012.

What happens next
Results from the consultation will be compiled and go before the Board, which is set to become permanent in April 2013.
